THE CENTER CANNOT HOLD

Shah Khalid a brave boy with black spot on his left side of face beneath lower lid of eye shows him like a tiger. His dark green big eyes look his face prominent. The big thin nose and slightly beard with mustaches seems like alluring.  His thin legs and arms were his weapons. Though he was thin weak apparently but quite industrious and believes in hard and smart work. He becomes concuss to blend out education career after his father fatal backache, who was the only source of income for his family. But, fate gave this responsibility to young shah Khalid to portray the message. Though he was talented and capable of each task but the society could not support him. He left the school in primary section regularly. But, he continued it along with his sever responsibilities. Because he believed in ‘never give up’. He joined the work of coal in mines to earn some piece of prosperity to his family.

        Shah is the only person in whole family. Because his elder brother is blind while the elder sister is mad. His third position assign him the task to perform and show it to those who know not. Beside this he could assist his younger brother Mujeeb after him to fulfill his desire of education. He provides his level best opportunity to him. It is well said that the scholar is the one who experience suffered.  He obtains 910 out of 1050 marks in intermediate in common degree college Loralai. Though he was an irregular student but still he had passion to perform and set his-self as a model for others. The government has claimed to awarded such students with cash prize of four lack rupees which could change his life style but this award got enjoyed by black sheep of society and shah perhaps could not able to imagine even about penny. The boy who got the award was the son of Sardar and that amount become the pocket money. Perhaps that could be very good example of Charles Darwin theory of evolution that fittest will survived. Shah was in coal mine where he was experiences the bitter realities of life. In which cool dry chilled wind of Baluchistan with limited amount of facilities gave shah some more courage to stand fast on his statement never gave up. He received the shocked news of his beloved younger sister who was the only source of house hold services after her mother. She gets lost her leg in tanky (tracker tank) accident the news becomes stunted to shah. Now shah compels to join his house because that mine job was quite away from his house. He received an advertisement of police vacancies. Though his talent was extra-ordinary but he could not afford professional life. He joined police department with great joy. Perhaps it was the first prosperity in his life. He continued this for six months with salary of fifteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty rupees in Quetta. He returned to visit his beloved family with some gifts. He discussed the matter with his brother mujeeb with advice that

Mujeeba wrora (brother): do you know that?

What my brother? Mujeeb

That why I am working hard that much hard. Shah

Why not brother for our prosperity. Mujeeb

Yeah, but ……

What?

For you especially to provide you best facility for acquiring education. Shah

The tears appears in eyes of mujeeb which distress shah as well

It’s OK dear mujeeb. See never give up as I did now I am in police from coal mine. Shah

Yeah brother but why we suffered a lot while those my class mates are enjoying a lot and they spruced upon my status as well. Mujeeb

But you believe you can do everything. Don not you think that I fought with such harsh circumstances. Shah

Yeah it’s OK you are with me Inshallah I will give you your desire in future. Mujeeb

That’s great, come on. Shah!

They moved but mujeeb with blubbering eyes. Shah embrace him and went to their house where shah first glance flash caught his younger sister with her sticks and blind brother who could just listen and observe him. He embraces everyone including his parents. His minute prosperity turned into gloom when he comes to know about his youngest brother mental illness. He cried unconsciously but controlled it due to his Mujeeb and consoled his family with “ALLAH DAAR LOI ZAAT DY” which means that God is the greatest savior. He knows better. Shah received a letter to attend emergency training for tomorrow. He came out from his house with mujeeb. His departure was quite heartrending because such condition can only be felt by those who suffered. Mujeeb consoled him and depart him in a local wagon. Shah waved his final hand to Mujeeb.

         Moreover shah arrived Quetta to attain the training station. On the second day of at evening time shah with his batch fellows starts their training unlike normal routine. Because all the weapons were kept far from them. As training commenced a huge blast heard by every corner of Quetta city similar to that eight august attacks upon lawyers. All around stunned. Shah gave up finally. The dead body was slayed there for long time because there was no one of him arrived his dead body. Some of the neighbors got his body and there was no ambulance for such Shaheens(Eagle) of Iqbal. His body was put on grills of the same local wagon where week before he went. Shah arrived but he could only received the prays of their beloved. Those black sheep even did not attend the funeral of Shah Khalid. He left behind Mujeeb all responsibilities as his father did so. The very next day Sardar Abdullah Khan got died the father of chief of tribe. The funeral of his consumed more than eight lack rupees with elite attendance in the funeral prayer. Shah and his family get lost while the Sardar house was receiving the condolence of his father death.
